Their pairing has garnered mixed reactions from fans, with critiques ranging from their fashion choices to speculations about Majors' supposed jealousy. However, amidst the chatter, a notable aspect of their relationship shines through: mutual support and encouragement, especially as Good re-emerges in her acting career following her divorce from Devon Franklin.

Good, 42, and Majors, 34, made a striking appearance at the New York City premiere of Good’s latest film, "Divorce in the Black," on July 8. Good stunned in a midriff-baring baby blue gown with a halter neck that created a criss-cross illusion across her bust. The gown’s a-line skirt was made from a see-through fabric, adding to its daring design.

Complementing her look, she accessorized with nude strappy heels, a vibrant blue geometric clutch, oversized translucent bangles, and edgy triangle drop earrings, her hair styled in a chic updo. Majors opted for a more understated ensemble, wearing a black cardigan, black trousers, black loafers, and a blue and white pinstripe button-down.

Since they began dating in May 2023, Good and Majors have made several red carpet appearances, most notably at the 4th Annual Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards. During his acceptance speech for the Perseverance Award, Majors expressed deep gratitude towards Good, saying, “You done carried me so, so, so many nights.”

"Divorce in the Black," written, directed, and produced by Tyler Perry, explores the unraveling of a marriage between a young bank professional Ava (Good) and her husband Dallas (Cree Hardrict). At the film's after-party, Good and Majors were seen in high spirits, dancing together and drawing a small crowd with their enthusiasm.

At the 30th ESSENCE Festival of Culture on July 6, Good and Hardrict shared how they supported each other through their respective divorces while working on the project. Good, reflecting on her collaboration with Hardrict, noted, “We’ve been friends for a long time and definitely support each other, want to see each other win, and have an opportunity to just act.”

Good’s split from her husband of nine years, author DeVon Franklin, was finalized in June 2022. She began dating Majors less than a year later, amidst his legal troubles. In March 2023, Majors was arrested and charged with assault and harassment following an alleged domestic dispute. Despite the charges and subsequent legal battles, Good stood by Majors, attending his court appearances.

In December, Majors was found guilty of misdemeanor assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree, leading to Marvel Studios dropping him from his role as Kang (a role he was outstanding in by the way!). He was sentenced to a one-year domestic violence treatment program in April.
