Mixer Moderator (Independent Contractor)

The ROLE:

Serious Singles Social is seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Mixer Moderator to host citywide events for serious singles interested in pursuing committed relationships. As a Mixer Moderator, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and secure environment for our attendees while helping them connect and find potential partners. These events are sponsored by 'She's SINGLE Magazine,' which covers venue costs, provides a traveling bartender, security, and background checks for attendees.

Your RESPONSIBILITIES:

Event Hosting:

Lead and host citywide singles events, creating an engaging and comfortable atmosphere for attendees.

Ensure the event runs smoothly, adheres to the schedule, and provides a memorable experience for serious singles.

Safety and Moderation:

Maintain a safe environment by moderating attendee behavior and ensuring adherence to event guidelines.

Address and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the event.

Game Hosting:

Organize and host interactive games and activities that encourage interaction and conversation among attendees.

Product Sales:

Promote and assist in the sales of merchandise and products related to the event, earning commissions on sales.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Outgoing and approachable personality.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and connect with diverse individuals.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Previous event hosting or moderation experience is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS:

Availability to host events, typically with a duration of up to 3 hours.
Willingness to travel within the city for event locations.
Reliable transportation to reach event venues.
A smartphone or device for communication and coordination.

The SALARY:

Independent Contractors will earn $25 per hour for hosting events.
Additional commission-based compensation on merchandise and product sales during events.
