Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann's Efforts to Rebuild Their Marriage After Second Divorce Filing

by Venus Sanders

Kim Zolciak has made a public statement asserting that she and her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, are actively "working on their marriage," despite Biermann having filed for divorce for the second time just last month.

Recent reports had suggested that Zolciak had moved out of their Georgia mansion. To address these reports, the former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star took to her Instagram Story to clarify her living situation. She shared a video of her shoe closet with the message: "I'm living here not going anywhere! Been working on our marriage and have been living together as husband and wife. The lies daily are too much."

While Zolciak has claimed that the couple has reconciled, Biermann's attorney has informed TMZ that he is still proceeding with the divorce.

This clarification comes in response to reports that a process server attempted to deliver a lawsuit to Zolciak on Thursday but was informed that she had moved out of the home. It appears, however, that Zolciak is still residing on the property. Meanwhile, Biermann has been attempting to sell the estate to address their "significant debt."

In the previous month, Biermann had pleaded with a judge for permission to sell their $3 million home, despite Zolciak's desire to remain. Social media accounts revealed that the couple had already begun selling some of their possessions, including designer goods belonging to their daughters, to generate additional income. However, Biermann alleged that none of the proceeds from these sales had been used to cover the mortgage or other bills, and they are once again facing foreclosure.

Their mansion has faced foreclosure on multiple occasions in the past, most recently in February when they defaulted on a $1.65 million loan. Despite the financial challenges, they were able to resolve that debt and avoid losing their home.

Zolciak, aged 45, and Biermann, aged 37, initially filed for divorce in May after being together for 11 years. At the time, Biermann cited that their union was "irretrievably broken" and requested sole legal and physical custody of their four minor children: Kroy Jr., 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9. Prior to the second divorce filing, the couple, who reportedly owe over $1 million to the IRS, reportedly engaged in a heated argument regarding their mounting financial difficulties.

According to sources, their disputes extended to the point of arguing over unpaid bills, counting every penny. Their relationship was described as a "rollercoaster," characterized by periods of affection followed by intense conflicts and "blowups."
