Mauricio Umansky is maintaining a positive outlook amidst his separation from his estranged wife, Kyle Richards.
During an interview with "Entertainment Tonight," Umansky, a 53-year-old real estate broker, expressed his current state, saying, "You know, we’re hanging in there, we’re working through all of our things, which everybody knows about, and we’re just taking it day by day."

He also shared that both he and the 54-year-old "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star are feeling happy. Despite the challenges they are facing, Umansky conveyed a sense of optimism regarding their situation.
Umansky emphasized their determination to shield themselves from external influences such as press coverage and social media commentary. "We’re trying not to let the press influence us and all of the social media and all of the stuff that’s going on,” he explained. “So we’re trying to just ignore that and figure that ourselves.”
The real estate magnate, who is set to appear on Season 32 of "Dancing with the Stars," assured viewers that they can expect to see their entire family supporting him on the show.
News of Umansky and Richards' separation emerged in July, marking the end of their 27-year marriage. In a joint statement released following the announcement, the couple dismissed speculations of wrongdoing on either side and acknowledged the hardships they had faced.
"We have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage," they shared on Instagram. "But we both love and respect each other tremendously."

Despite the separation, Umansky and Richards have maintained an amicable relationship, continuing to spend time together with their children. In a recent family getaway, the couple, along with their daughters Alexia (27), Sophia (23), and Portia (15), enjoyed a European vacation aboard a yacht in Italy.
Richards addressed the separation candidly during an Amazon Live session, acknowledging the difficulties they faced, especially given the public nature of their relationship. She emphasized the deep care and respect they hold for each other.
Despite both Umansky and Richards denying allegations of infidelity, rumors have persisted regarding Richards' connection with country singer Morgan Wade. Both have insisted that they are just friends.
Last month, these rumors escalated when Richards appeared in Wade's steamy music video for her song "Fall in Love with Me." Most recently, Richards and Wade, 28, were seen in an intimate setting at a café in Paris, where an eyewitness reported their closeness, even when not speaking to each other.
