The 26-year-old tennis star raised eyebrows when she posted a somewhat enigmatic message on Twitter. In a tweet on October 17, she wrote, "I just want someone that will watch the sunset with me." In the wake of this post, Osaka removed all signs of Cordae, the "Doomsday" rapper, from her Instagram account.

These posts hint at the possibility of a breakup, although they remain somewhat cryptic. Furthermore, on September 27, Osaka shared another suggestive message on her social media, stating, "The art of loving yourself." In a tweet liked a week prior, she also referred to the act of "walking away from those that didn’t value you."

Cordae's actions—or rather, the lack thereof—have only fueled the rumors. Notably, he did not post any birthday wishes for Osaka when she celebrated her birthday. He was conspicuously absent from her celebratory photo collection.

The couple, who have been together since 2019, made another move that caught the attention of their followers: they both unfollowed each other on their respective social media accounts.

As of now, representatives for Naomi Osaka and Cordae, whose full name is Cordae Amari Dunston, have not provided any official comments in response to the breakup speculations. Despite the swirl of rumors, it's essential to remember that this couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Shai, in July. Osaka previously revealed the profound meaning behind their daughter's name, "Shai means God’s gift. I wanted her to feel like she was a gift to me and her dad."

The tennis star initially announced her pregnancy in January by posting a sonogram photo. She shared her excitement for her child's future and their potential involvement in her career, writing, "I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, ‘that’s my mom,’ haha."

Despite stepping away from the Australian Open due to her pregnancy, Osaka promised to return to tennis in 2024, vowing to come back even stronger.
