Oh wow, the veneers are veneerring on these two honey! Anyways, let's get into the scoop. We love you Nene...

NeNe Leakes, the former star of "Real Housewives of Atlanta," is taking a step back from her romantic relationship with boyfriend Nyonisela Sioh. In a candid revelation on Carlos King's podcast, "Reality with the King," the 55-year-old reality star disclosed that she and Sioh are currently "taking a break" as their union is not working well at the moment.

Leakes candidly expressed, "Today, we are taking a break. We've been taking a break. It's...things I'm not happy with, things he's not happy with. It's just not working at the moment." The reality star confirmed her relationship with Sioh in December 2021, but now she is prioritizing self-care and personal growth.

Their relationship first made headlines when Sioh joined Leakes at her surprise 54th birthday party in December 2021. However, their romance faced challenges due to Sioh's divorce from ex-wife Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh. Tehmeh-Sioh filed a lawsuit against Leakes, accusing her of causing "emotional distress" and "humiliation," alleging that Leakes was responsible for breaking up their marriage.

Leakes firmly denied all of Tehmeh-Sioh's allegations and countered the claims of being a "husband stealer." She asserted that she would never engage in such behavior and stressed the importance of maintaining honesty and integrity in relationships.

For Leakes, this relationship with Sioh marked her first after the devastating loss of her husband, Gregg, to colon cancer in September 2021. Gregg was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2018, and after six months of chemotherapy, he went into remission. Unfortunately, his cancer returned in June, and he passed away at the age of 66.

Despite the heartbreak, Leakes revealed that Gregg had given his blessing and encouraged her to pursue happiness in her life. She shared, "I will love Gregg forever and ever. Grieving is hard. Even harder and depressing alone. Gregg and I had a very tearful conversation before his passing. His words to me were 'be happy, keep smiling, and he who finds you has found a good one.'"

NeNe Leakes and Gregg had a complex relationship history. They got married in 1997, divorced in 2011, and remarried in 2013. Together, they raised one child, their 24-year-old son named Brentt. Additionally, Leakes has another son, Bryson, 33, from a previous relationship with Calvin Bryant.

As NeNe Leakes navigates this new phase of her life, she is prioritizing self-care and personal growth. Taking a break from her relationship with Sioh allows her to focus on healing and rediscovering herself after the loss of her beloved husband. Through her openness and vulnerability, NeNe Leakes serves as an inspiration to others who are navigating difficult life transitions and emphasizes the importance of taking the time to prioritize one's well-being and emotional health.
